Dawson T. Li, O.D., achieved his Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California at Los Angeles, and then earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He practiced optometry in Atlanta for two years, specializing in primary care optometry and LASIK co-management, before coming to Li & Liao Optometry to serve the Bakersfield community in 2001.
DAWSON T. LI, O.D.
Yuh-Jen Liao, O.D., earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of California San Diego, followed by her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After becoming an optometrist, she practiced at the Laser Vision Institute in Atlanta, where she successfully co-managed over 3,000 LASIK cases. She has provided expert eye care to patients in Bakersfield since 2001.
Yuh-Jen Liao, O.D.
Dr. Eileen Ng attended the University of California, Berkeley, for both her B.S. in Biology and her Doctor of Optometry. She trained in a variety of settings, including the Reno, NV Veterans Affairs hospital and a non-profit health center in Atwater, CA, and completed her geriatrics and primary care optometry residency at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Hospital. Dr. Ng joined us in Bakersfield in 2013.

Dr. Rakesh Momi received his bachelor’s degree in biology from California State University, and his Doctor of Optometry from Arizona College of Optometry. His unique and diverse background gives him a unique eye care perspective, and he excels at building connections with patients and tailoring their eye care to their individual needs.

Our Team & Technology
To us, bringing you clear vision isn’t enough: you should have a comfortable experience whenever you’re with us, too, and that’s what our technicians help provide. At the start of your appointment, you’ll be assigned a technician to focus on you. They stay with you throughout your entire visit, listening to your needs and concerns and relaying them to our other staff so that everyone involved in your eye care is always on the same page.
Our eye doctors use advanced diagnostic technology to provide accurate scans and images of your eye, enabling us to diagnose any potential issues as early as possible. And to further aid them, our doctors have scribes on hand so they can focus on the smallest details and spend their time listening to you, not entering information into a computer.
